Second seeds Ivan Dodig and Austin Krajicek kept their hopes alive for a second ATP Masters 1000 team title Thursday at the BNP Paribas Open, where they completed a Match Tie-break comeback to reach the second round.

The Croatian-American duo ousted Tallon Griekspoor and Hubert Hurkacz 6-1, 3-6, 10-7 after one hour, 20 minutes, in which Dodig and Krajicek tallied six consecutive points from 4/7 in the Match Tie-break to advance.

Dodig and Krajicek, who were finalists last week in Dubai, await either Grigor Dimitrov and Daniel Evans or Marcelo Melo and Alexander Zverev. Last year, Dodig and Krajicek won five tour-level titles, which helped them qualify for the coveted Nitto ATP Finals.
