'A true British great' & golfing soon? Social media reacts to Murray's retirement

Following Andy Murray’s final match Thursday at the Paris Olympics, the former No. 1 in the PIF ATP Rankings received an outpouring of support on social media.

Keir Starmer, prime minister of the United Kingdom, former No. 1 golfer Justin Rose and Murray’s colleagues on the ATP Tour sent congratulatory messages to the 46-time tour-level titlist.
