    PERSONAL

    Began playing tennis at age six…Father George is a pharmaceutical sales manager and Mother Angela is a housewife. No brothers or sisters…Considered clay his favourite surface prior to coming to Wimbledon qualifying, but now having played on grass likes it a lot…Considers best achievement of his career so far to be winning a challenger on clay in Barcelona in 2001, and helping Greece be promoted to Europe/Africa Zone Group I in Davis Cup in 2001…Has his left eyebrow pierced as well as the top of his left ear…Hobbies include skiing, music, going to the cinema and clubbing. He enjoys bungee jumping and likes watching soccer but not playing…Did not play on the ITF Junior Circuit.
