Birthplace: Danbury, Ct. Residence: Dary, N.C. Chris is a 1985 graduate of Trinity University (Tx.) with a degree in business administration. As a member of the Tigers tennis team he reached the round of 16 at the 1985 NCAA Singles championships earning All-American honors for the second straight year. He concluded his collegiate career by earning two of college tennis' most prestigious awards. He won the Rafael Osuna Award for sportsmanship and excellence of play and the Van Nostrand Award for sportsmanship and character. He was the recipient of Trinity's Senior Male Athlete Award. In March of '85 he recorded wins over Mikael Pernfors (two-time NCAA singles champ) and Stanford All-America Jim Grabb. His main strengths are his serve and big forhand. He prefers playing on hard courts. Was a member of the 1985 USTA Junior Davis Cup team.
